It's been a long road for former Florida State running back Jacques Patrick since committing to the Seminoles as a four-star recruit in 2014. Patrick was the fourth-best running back in his class and the 10th overall prospect in Florida, tallying 2,146 all-purpose yards and 18 touchdowns during his time in Tallahassee.

Since being drafted in the 2020 XFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Vipers, he's been on and off the roster of five franchises around the NFL, ranging from the San Fransico 49s in 2021 to the Denver Broncos in 2023.

Although the term "new home" isn't entirely suiting, Patrick signed with the Tennesee Titans on Thursday again after being waived from their practice squad this past August, per Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 Houston.

Patrick played in the Titans’ final two preseason games, rushing for 105 yards on 23 carries before being cut. Before making the Titan's practice squad, He was the XFL's San Antonio Brahmas leading rusher with 443 yards on the ground, five touchdowns, and another 238 yards through the air. That was one of the top marks in the entire league, paving Patrick's return to the NFL from the start-up league for a second time.

The 6-foot-2, 236-pound bruiser could be elevated to the active roster this weekend when the Titans play against the Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday. Tennesee's depth is in question with running back Tyjae Spears dealing with an injury.
