WATCH: A 6'6" 2027 Offensive Tackle Speaks Early Offers

2027 OT Tyler Ford has early offers from Louisville and East Tennessee State out of Gainesville High School.

The 2027 recruiting class had a fun weekend at Pinecrest Academy at the 2024 NEGA Classic with a bunch of the state of Georgia’s rising stars. One of the players at this event was a 6‘6“ offensive tackle from Gainesville High School. Tyler Ford has had an early start to his recruitment, and Dawgs Daily’s Ethan Offutt had a chance to speak with the towering recruit.

Watch 2027 OT Tyler Ford talk on Georgia’s play into his recruitment:

The 317-pounder already holds offers from East Tennessee State and Louisville but one school captured his eye early on. When Offutt asked him about how Georgia plays into his recruitment Ford said “They’re an option, I would play there if I got an offer. I would go there probably, most likely.”

The Bulldogs pulled in a bunch of offensive line recruits that are around or over 6’ 5”. Ford has a solid frame with a road of development in front of him, but his stature is a solid bet to make. He and the 2027 center from Gainesville, Carter Mathis, will be more than dominant in the Red Elephants offensive line as they get older and continue to develop.

Ford is a prospect Georgia fans should be eyeing within their own backyard. Since the takeover of Josh Niblrtt Gainesville has been in the playoffs with a very talented team. Ford will be a big piece to their future success.
