Travaris Robinson Reportedly Staying With Georgia Bulldogs
Newly hired Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has begun to rebuild his coaching staff as he prepares for the 2024 college football season.
Robinson, who served as the Tide's defensive backs coach in 2023 was recently hired by the Bulldogs to serve as the team's safety coach/co-defensive coordinator. His future with the Bulldogs came into question just days after his hiring, as reports began to swirl that the coach had interviewed for the defensive coordinator position at Alabama.
But despite interviewing with the Tide, Robinson has elected to remain with Kirby Smart on the Bulldogs' staff and will continue to serve alongside Glenn Schumann as the team's co-defensive coordinator.
Robinson's choice is excellent news for Bulldog fans, as it will provide the defense with excellent coaching experience and will aid the Bulldogs on the recruiting trail in the future.
