Malaki Starks Ranked as Top Returning Defensive Back According to ESPN
From the first time he stepped onto the field, it was evident to many that Georgia safety Malaki Starks was going to be a star. As the 2024 season approaches, it is safe to say that the Bulldogs’ safety has certainly lived up to the hype he created for himself as a true freshman. In just two seasons with Georgia, Starks has accounted for more than 100 total tackles, five interceptions, and has become one of the most feared safeties in all of college football.
Starks’ dominance on the field has made him a fan-favorite to the Georgia Bulldog faithful, but Dawgnation is not the only group that has noticed the star safety’s abilities. According to an article by ESPN, Starks is the highest-ranked returning defensive back in all of college football for the 2024 season.
Starks will look to continue his dominant play as the Georgia Bulldogs look to return to the national championship during the 2024 season.
