Isaiah Wilson suffered a lower leg injury in Wednesday's practice leading up to Murray St this weekend. Wilson fought through a similar lower-body issue in last Saturday's matchup against Vanderbilt.

The extent of the injury has not yet been confirmed, and though Wilson has played extremely well over the past 15 consecutive starts after redshirting his true freshman season, Cade Mays is no secondary replacement.

Credit goes to Sam Pittman for having the foresight to make sure he had Mays prepared to play all 5 positions because though Jamaree Salyer was taking 2nd team reps at Right Tackle now that he's back and fully healthy, Mays will get the start Saturday.

This is the second injury to a key player on offense in just week 2, with Kearis Jackson's injury last Saturday against Vanderbilt. However, Dawg fans can rest assured that the offensive line is the deepest position on this roster and one that's planned as best they could for an occasion like this.

Keep in mind, Ben Cleveland missed 6 games last year due to a broken bone in his leg, and Cade Mays slid in seamlessly then.
