Carson "Beckquavious"? Georgia Quarterback Sports a Familiar Haircut Heading into Fall Camp
This Wednesday, The Georgia Bulldogs' first official day at fall began as players and coaches reported for practices to begin their 2023 campaign. And while there has yet to be (nor is there likely to be) any footage released from practices thus far. Quarterback Carson Beck has already begun to take the internet by storm.
In an Instagram post on Georgia Football's equipment page, Beck was seen with a brand-new haircut ahead of the 2023 season.
College football fans may find some similarities in Beck's new style, as former Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett sported a similar "buzzed style" haircut before the beginning of the 2022 college football season. His haircut earned him the nickname "Stetquavious" amongst teammates and Georgia fans alike.
During the 2022 season, Bennett (or Stetquavious) would end up having the most successful seasons in the history of any Georgia quarterback as he threw for over 4,000 yards, earned a trip to New York as a Heisman finalist, and led the Bulldogs an incredible 15-0 record.
Now, as potentially the next quarterback at the University of Georgia. Beck seems to be embracing his role and even carrying on the traditions of those left before him. While a haircut is no indication as to what kind of success a player may have. If Carson Beck can put up similar numbers to Stetson Bennett's 2022 campaign. The Bulldogs and "Beckquavious" could be in for a spectacular 2023 season.
