Georgia Bulldog Rookies Shine in Preseason Games

Pre-season games, while unconsequential to a team's regular season have a handful of purposes. One of those purposes is for rookies to showcase their skill sets and to justify a team's choice to pick them. Over the weekend, a handful of rookies from the University of Georgia were able to show flashes of potential and solidify themselves as the correct choice in the NFL Draft. Here is a list of Georgia Bulldog rookies who stood out over the weekend.
Jalen Carter
As the first Bulldog selected during the 2023 NFL Draft, Jalen Carter has a lot to live up to during this year's NFL regular season. However, if his very first play from scrimmage is any indicator of how his NFL career will go. Carter in the Eagles is in excellent hands.

Stetson Bennett
After entering the game against the Chargers down two scores, Bennett orchestrated a pair of touchdown drives and displayed some incredible accuracy in a handful of throws. "The Mailman" would finish the evening with 191 passing yards in what would be a losing effort for the Los Angeles Rams.
Kelee Ringo
As the hero of the 2022 national championship game, Kelee Ringo reminded football fans why he was so widely renowned during his days at the University of Georgia as he deflected a pass on a major third down.
