BREAKING: Javon Bullard Announces 2024 NFL Draft Decision
It's been very quiet for the most part around the Georgia football program regarding players making their decisions known to the public regarding whether or not they will be declaring for the NFL draft. Now it seems that those decisions will start to roll in as defensive back Javon Bullard has announced that he has declared for the 2024 NFL draft.
Coming out of high school, Bullard was not considered one of the top players in the country, as he was rated as a three-star prospect and outside of the top 50 at his position. It didn't take him long though to prove that those ratings were incorrect.
In 2022, Bullard racked up 46 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and reeled in two interceptions. He was also named defensive MVP for both the semifinal playoff game against Ohio State and the national championship game against TCU that season.
For the 2023 season, Bullard made a position switch from STAR to backend safety so that Tykee Smith could play at STAR, and Bullard continued to make an impact. This last season, Bullard had 55 tackles, a tackle for loss and two interceptions through 13 games for the Bulldogs. A big-time factor on defense for the Bulldogs over the last couple of seasons.
