Georgia Gains Alabama Defensive Back from Transfer Portal
The Alabama football program had massive news break earlier this week as head coach Nick Saban announced his retirement. They have since hired Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer to take over the program. With the news, it is expected that Alabama will have players depart the program, some have already chosen to do so.
Alabama defensive back Jake Pope has announced he has committed to the Bulldogs. Pope had entered the portal before Saban's retirement was announced, but it did not take him long to decide to move back to his home state. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
