WATCH: Kirby Smart Cracks Joke About Dan Mullen

In this story:
The Georgia Bulldogs dominate the Florida Gators as they improve to 8-0 on the season and maintain their top spot in the eastern division of the SEC after their 43-20 win over the Gators. It is Georgia's third straight win over the Gators, and the program improves to 6-2 over Florida with Kirby Smart as their head coach.
The Gators got off to a hot start to open up the game as they scored a touchdown on their first drive, but it was all Georgia after that. The Bulldogs then went on to score 26 unanswered points in the first, and they kept the momentum rolling in the second half as well.
Following the game, Coach Smart spoke to the media, and during his press conference, he made cracked a joke about former head coach Dan Mullen. For context, Mullen earlier in the week predicted the Gators to beat Georgia this weekend. The former ball coach was likely just showing his allegiance to the Gators, but nonetheless, it provided a top-tier Coach Smart moment.

Georgia also managed to cover the 14.5-point spread that was set earlier in the week and won in dominating fashion. This was a big exclamation point from the Bulldogs as the college football playoff rankings will be released this week for the first time this season.
The Bulldogs will now prepare for their matchup against Missouri, which will play a role in deciding who will make the trip to Atlanta at the end of the regular season to play in the SEC Championship game.
