Georgia Linebacker Rian Davis Announces Transfer Destination

Former Georgia linebacker Rian Davis has announced he will be transferring to UCF.

The NCAA transfer portal opened back up on April 15, and with Georgia's spring scrimmage behind them, players are starting to hit the portal and look for a new home. The Bulldogs saw a multitude of players hit the portal following the 2022 season, and now the roster movement is back in action again. Former Georgia linebacker Rian Davis has announced he will be transferring to UCF.

Davis ranked as the #4 OLB nationally, the #78 overall prospect nationally, and the #11 prospect in Florida. He played in 23 games over four seasons with the Bulldogs, accumulating 17 total tackles. He leaves Georgia as a two-time national champion and helped the Bulldogs win the SEC title in 2022 as well.

Georgia's roster will likely remain in flux until the second portal window closes at the end of May.
