Group of Bulldogs Visit Local Elementary School

In this story:
The talk around college football right now and even Georgia's football program is the transfer portal. With the portal open again for business, players are taking advantage of it. Georgia has had several players enter the portal since the completion of their spring scrimmage. Even in the midst of the chaos though, several current Bulldogs found a way to bring some positivity into the spotlight.
Georgia players Ladd Mconkey, Oscar Delp, Will Snellings, and Luke Collins recently visited High Shoals Elementary, a local school in Oconee County, to spend time with some of the kindergarteners there. The pictures shared showed the players reading to the kids, signing autographs, and fellowshipping with the young students at the school.
Thanks to Ladd McConkey, Oscar Delp, Luke Collins, and Will Snellings from @GeorgiaFootball for stopping by High Shoals Elementary to spend some quality time with the kindergarteners. #OconeeStrong

McConkey and Delp are expected to be major contributors for the Bulldogs on offense during the 2023 season. McConkey had the second-most receiving yards on the team a season ago with 762 and scored nine total touchdowns. Delp saw action as a reserve tight end as a true freshman in 2022 and with Darnell Washington now off to the NFL, he is expected to have a much bigger role in Georgia's offense in the upcoming season.
A lot of the time, news in the offseason typically isn't news that fans want to see, so it's refreshing to see some heartfelt news floating around in the media. Seeing the older generation making a positive impact on the younger generation is always a great thing to see as well. The Bulldogs will be spending the majority of this offseason preparing to defend their back-to-back national titles, but as they showed here, they can still find some time to make a difference in their community.
