With December inching closer and closer to the early signing period for the 2024 recruiting class, November is even closer and will bring the beginning of the Georgia High School football playoffs. In the third-to-last week of the regular season, some of the Georgia Bulldogs commits need to finalize their seeding as their playoff pictures start shaping up.

Elyiss Williams and Camden County play at Valdosta High School in Region 1-AAAAAAA. Williams and company lost their game last week to Colquitt County. This week will be another tough matchup in the form of Valdosta, who takes on Colquitt next week. Valdosta is 2-0 in region play and can't afford to suffer a loss at this point. Omar White and Eric Brantley need to be on their A-game if they hope to keep their perfect record in the region and have a better chance of getting a one-seed in the playoffs. Meanwhile,

Dylan Raiola, Jadon Perlotte, and Buford travel to play Dacula High School in a region 8-AAAAAAAA, the same school where they were tearing up the competition this summer. Buford was featured on ESPN2 last week when they traveled to take on Mill Creek and lost to an impressive team that was led by Trajen Greco, a 4-star Georgia Tech commit. Dacula is not the same caliber opponent as Mill Creek, or even what they were just a short four years ago. Coming into this game with a 1-6 record, it will be a solid turnaround game for Raiola and Perlotte before they face Justin Greene and Mountain Biew next week.

Speaking of Justin Greene and Mountain View, they host Central Gwinnett tonight. Mountain View is coming off a rough loss to Collins Hill with a final score of 22-14. That made their record 3-4 and 1-1 in the region, just like Central Gwinnett. As far as playoff seeding is concerned, both teams are looking to have a statement win tonight and boost their chances of making it into the playoffs. Though Greene's senior season hasn't gone according to plan record-wise, he can still help his team make a final push for the playoffs.

Sacovie White and Cass travel to play Hiram in one of their most important games this season. The 4-4 Cass team is 1-2 in Region 7-AAAAA. The Hiram Hornets started their season with a six-game winning streak before losing two straight games to Calhoun and Cartersville to make their region record 1-2 like Cass. White has played a huge role in the success of the Cass team this season and will need to step up in an even bigger way tonight if they want to improve their chances of reaching the playoffs.

Ethan Barbour and Alpharetta host Johns Creek in a Region 7-AAAAAA rivalry. Barbour and Alpharetta come into this game undefeated in region play (3-0) and a 4-3 overall record. They are coming into this game second in the region, only behind Roswell, who they play in two weeks for what will likely decide the region champion. Johns Creek isn't the powerhouse they were a few years ago, like Dacula, and are coming into this game with a 1-7 record and sitting at the bottom of the region. On paper, Barbour and his team should come away with the victory tonight, but in a rivalry game, you never know what could happen.

After tonight, the Georgia high school football regular season will have just two weeks left before teams get to see where they are placed in the respective bracket for each classification. With the Bulldogs bye week this week, you may even catch some of the Georgia staff out visiting their recruits and watching them play.
