Kirby Smart looks to get his first road victory over an SEC West opponent as the Georgia Bulldogs are set to take on the #12 ranked Auburn Tigers here at Jordan-Hare Stadium down on the Plains. 

The 124th matchup in the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry features to teams that have eerily similar identities.  Two football teams that run the football and play top-notch defense.

Pregame: 

First Quarter 

Georgia won the opening toss and has deferred to the second half. Auburn will receive the opening kick. Blankenship sends it through the back of the endzone. 

Auburn converts on their first third down of the ballgame. The Tigers are on a promising opening drive. 

The Dawgs defense forces a 4th & 3 at their own 29-yard line and Kirby Smart is forced to call his first timeout of the half just 3:37 into the first quarter. After Smart's timeout, Auburn runs on Kicker Anders Carlson for the 47-yard field goal that was no good. 

Auburn forces a three and out on UGA's opening possession of the game. A 66-yard punt from Camarda pins Auburn inside their own 2-yard line.  

(7-0) 5:56 - Dominick Blaylock catches the 51-yard touchdown strike from Jake Fromm. Blaylock gets behind Auburn's defense and the Dawgs score first. 

UGA's defense forces a quick punt. Georgia will get the ball back with 3:54 left in the first quarter on their own 26. Fromm is sacked on 3rd down, Camarda on to punt. 

End of First Quarter

Second Quarter: 

Auburn's first drive of the second quarter stalls out after a 13-yard loss on fourth down. 

Georgia will be forced to punt on their ensuing drive following a three and out from the Dawgs. Camarda puts his third punt inside the ten-yard line. 

Barring one explosive play from Georgia, this first half has been a defensive slugfest. 

Auburn's lone success in the first half has come off slants, they hit another big one here late in the first half. Auburn on the move with the ball at midfield. 

Jeremiah Johnson forces a fumble with 3:18 left in the half, recovered by Richard LeCounte. Though, Georgia goes 3 and out on the following possession. 

Georgia on a promising 2-minute drive thanks to a few successful runs from Swift. 

(14-0) 0:20 - A flawlessly executed 2-minute drill puts the Bulldogs up two scores as Fromm hit Herrien for a three-yard TD pass.

Third Quarter

Georgia is set to receive the opening kick of the second half. 

Georgia's offense has run a lot of tight, bunch formations to counteract Auburn's man defense. 

Georgia's defense is doing a tremendous job of keeping Auburn in front, especially speedster Anthony Schwartz. They force a three and out, after a great punt from Auburn Georgia will get the ball back at their own 2-yard line. 

Georgia forced to punt after a three and out from their own end. Auburn will start at the Georgia 44-yard line after a personal foul was called on Tyler Simmons.

The defensive shut out continues, for now, as Auburn is set to punt for the 7th punt of the contest.  

Georgia continues to run the football here late in the third quarter, limiting the total number of possessions that Auburn will get. As they move into the redzone, Big Kat Byrant gets called for unnecessary roughness. 

(21-0) 0:13 - Fromm throws his third TD of the day, as he connects on the 5-yard TD pass to Eli Wolf. Rodrigo's PAT is good. 12 play, 88-yard drive. Drive took 6:27 off the game clock.

Fourth Quarter

Eric Stokes drops a would-be interception in the redzone for Georgia and is then called for a pass interference the very next play. 

(21-7) 10:04 - The shut out finally ends as Bo Nix connects to Devan Barrett on a 5-yard TD pass. 

Auburn then elects to go with an onside kick, but upon further review, Auburn is forced to rekick from the 35-yard line. 

(21-14) 7:03 - Momentum slowly starting to lean towards Auburn as they drive down and score. Bo Nix puts an end to Georgia's record nine straight games without allowing a rushing TD. 

Dawgs go three and out on their following possession. Auburn set to get the ball down one score with 6:00 left in the game. 

Injury Report: 

(WR) Lawrence Cager - Probable: Cager has been battling a left-shoulder injury for the majority of the season. He's expected to go today, though it's a fluid situation as we've seen him exit games multiple times this season. 

(OL) Cade Mays - Probable: Mays suffered a lower leg injury last week against Missouri, though he re-entered the contest following the issue. He got the start at Right Guard over Cleveland. 

(OL) Trey Hill - Probable: Hill was helped off last week with a lower leg injury and is questionable today vs Auburn. Hill was seen in pregame with tape on both ankles and got the start at Center. 

(CB) Tyson Campbell - Probable: One of Georgia's starting corners at the beginning of the season, Campbell has been sidelined with a toe injury. He played limited snaps last week and is expected to be back in the full swing of things today. 

(DL) Michael Barnett - Has entered the medical tent on Georgia's sideline, and is back in the contest just a few drives later.  

(DL) Devonte Wyatt - Is down on the field holding his knee. Has re-entered the game.
