Georgia vs. Auburn: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

The Georgia Bulldogs just won a thriller in Auburn. Let's unpack the good, the bad, and the ugly from this game.

The Georgia Bulldogs barely defeated the Auburn Tigers this evening by a score of 27-20. Here is the good, the bad, and the ugly from this heart attack from a game.

The Good - The Outcome

No matter the opponent, no matter the score. When you win on the road against an SEC opponent, you've had a good day. Was it pretty? Hell no. Is there a lot to fix? Absolutely. But the Dawgs showed that they can get punched in the mouth (more than once) and still pull out a win.

The Bad - The First Half

This isn't the first time this season that the Bulldogs have had an ugly opening 15 minutes. But a slow start on the road against an SEC opponent is almost asking for a loss. The Bulldogs also allowed a staggering 145 rushing yards in the first half. Their largest total in over two seasons.

The Ugly - The Turnovers

Turning the ball over more than once is almost a surefire way to lose a football game. Especially when you are on the road in one of the most notorious SEC environments. The Bulldogs' three turnovers led to 14 of Auburn's 20 total points.
