Georgia vs Ole Miss Final Betting Odds Update

The line opened on Sunday with the Bulldogs favored by 11.5 over Lane Kiffin's Rebels, but it's since moved. We have the final betting line update for the Ole Miss vs Georgia contest.

The Georgia Bulldogs come into week 11 of the college football season fresh off of a top-15 victory over Missouri, but the schedule does not relent this week as the Bulldogs are set to face No. 9 Ole Miss in a top-10 matchup with significant SEC and College Football Playoff implications. Georgia enters the matchup with Ole Miss with an undefeated record and a 26-game winning streak, while the Rebels will arrive in Athens with an 8-1 (5-1 SEC) record and designs to deal the Bulldogs their first loss since the 2021 SEC Championship game. The Bulldogs have maintained their favorite status in the game all week, but the line has continued to shrink as the week has progressed.

The line opened on Sunday with the Bulldogs favored by 11.5 over Lane Kiffin's Rebels, but as of Saturday, the line has shrunk to [-10.5], according to FanDuel.

The Georgia Bulldogs come into week six of college football with a ranked matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats next up on the schedule. Both programs currently sit with blemish-free records, and while it is still early into the season, this could be a matchup that ends up deciding who represents the eastern division in the SEC Championship game come December. Despite that, Georgia was listed as a multiple-score favorite at the start of the week, and that appears to be where the number will finish out.

At the start of the week, SISportsbook had the Bulldogs listed as a 14.5-point favorite over the Wildcats, and they have remained firm in that point spread. That number appears to be consistent with most sports betting sites, as most of them also have the Bulldogs tabbed as 14.5-point favorites this weekend.

While the large spread may certainly seem enticing to Kentucky bettors (especially following Georgia's performance against a much lesser team), it should be noted that the Dawgs have defeated the Wildcats by an average margin of 20.6 points in their last 10 matchups.

According to VegasInsider.com, this game opened back in May with Georgia favored by 24.5 points, that line dropped to 17.5 by late September and has settled at 14.5 points by Saturday morning.
