Kirby Smart Postgame Press Conference After Win over Missouri

Following Georgia's 27-0 win over the Missouri Tigers, Kirby Smart spoke about the matchup in his postgame press conference
He opened the presser as he always does after Georgia home games, by thanking the fans for their performance here at Sanford Stadium today. A key portion of Kirby's presser's every week, and as a former Dawg himself, Smart understands the importance of a loud home crowd.
One thing most Georgia fans are concerned with following tonight's victory has to be the offensive stalls in the redzone. Smart addressed the 4 field goal attempts after the offense stalled on multiple possessions.
"Feels like we've kicked 28 field goals in the three games we've played those guys, I don't know what the total is, but it's ridiculous. We've got to find a way to be better in the redzone, thank god we've got an extremley consistent kicker." - Kirby Smart
Smart has been consistent about asking a lot of George Pickens, even after a great game from Pickens tonight, Smart is still looking for more consistency from the freshman phenom.
"If he would have lined up correctly, he would have had another touchdown." -Kirby Smart
Another point of concern for fans leaving this matchup has got to be the injuries sustained tonight. Coach Smart addresses several key starters.
When asked about Lawrence Cager's shoulder issue, Smart responded by saying he feels that Cager will be fine, that if they needed him to, they felt like he could have re-entered the game. Cager spoke to The Bulldog Maven about the shoulder after the Notre Dame game, telling us it's something he's battled even dating back to his days at Miami.
As for the offensive line, Smart says that all three big fellas that went down tonight should be good to go next week at Auburn. Both Cade Mays and Isaiah Wilson ended up returning to the game after suffering lower-body injuries, and Smart assured the media that Trey Hill should be fine as well.
When asked if he felt his team was playing their best football currently Kirby Smart responded, "I think we are in some spots... but we are certainly not where we need to be, but our kids are buying in and they're working hard."
