The Season is a little over halfway, with most teams either soon to have their second bye of the season, or in the midst of it. So, it's about time to take a look around the SEC and check on the division standings.

We will look at the current standings, and delve into each team, their biggest win to date, toughest games remaining and more.

Here's how things are shaking out so far in the standings:

SEC East

Florida (7-1):

Biggest Win - 24-13 @ home vs. #9 Auburn

Toughest remaining games: Florida's survived their gauntlet, for the most part, all that's left is Georgia in the WLOCP. Outside of UGA, their remaining opponents have a combined 10-11 record.

Florida surprised some, handling Auburn the way they did a few weeks back, and despite that being Bo Nix's first true road SEC experience in that type of environment, Florida controlled the matchup for the majority of the game. Georgia will certainly have their hands full following both teams bye.

Georgia (6-1):

Biggest Win - 23-17 @ home vs. #7 Notre Dame

Toughest remaining games: Pick your poison. Georgia has the third toughest remaining schedule in all of college football. Florida, Auburn and Texas A&M all left on the schedule.

Georgia's early start to the season had some fans thinking National Championship, the last few weeks had some of those same fans booing play calls in during a scoreless first half against Kentucky. Slightly exposed against South Carolina, Georgia has shown on film they can be tamed upfront in the run game when faced with a group the likes of USC's d-line.

Missouri (5-2):

Biggest Win - 34-14 @ home vs. South Carolina

Toughest remaining games: Back to back weeks @ UGA, then vs. FLA

Mizzou had a fair run at things early in the season, in fact they've yet to match up with a ranked opponent on the season. Yet, they managed to drop two games, and both are relatively inexplicable. On the road against Wyoming to start the season, then after rattling off five consecutive wins they dropped last week to Vandy in Nashville.

South Carolina (3-4):

Biggest Win - 20-17 @ Georgia

Toughest remaining games: South Carolina closes the season out against Clemson to complete what is arguably the toughest schedule in the country.

South Carolina has shown signs of real growth. Starting a true freshman quarterback in Ryan Hilinski, USC took down the Bulldogs in Athens and carried a lead into the fourth quarter against Florida this past weekend.

Tennessee (2-5):

Biggest Win - Just Kidding

Toughest remaining game: @Missouri

It's been a rough go at it for the Tennessee Volunteers this season. We can just leave that at that.

Vanderbilt (2-5):

Biggest Win - 21-14 @ home vs. Missouri

Toughest remaining game: @ Florida

Derek Mason's squad fought out a big upset this past weekend over Missouri. Headed into the game Missouri was a 21 point favorite, and averaging over 38 points per game. The Commodore defense helf the Tigers to under 300 yards of total offense.

Kentucky (3-4):

Biggest Win - N/A

Toughest remaining game: vs. Missouri

Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats enjoyed their first ten-win season since 1977. This year, not so much, but it's been in a respectable fashion. The Wildcats have been outscored just 163-141.
