GAMEDAY: Missouri vs Georgia - Live Updates, Open Thread/Live Blog

Brooks Austin

Georgia controls their own destiny for the remainder of the season with regards to SEC Championship and College Football Playoff aspirations. Today, they take on the Missouri Tigers between the hedges.

It's a night game in Athens today, the second of the season, and things seem eerily quiet here in the Classic City. Though no one expects to experience a Notre Dame like environment tonight inside Sanford Stadium, but the scene outside the stadium seems more in line with an out of conference game against a Non-Power 5 program than it does like a Division matchup featuring the top two statistical defenses in the SEC.

Injury Report:

(DB) Tyson Campbell - [IN] Campbell has been battling a turf toe injury and is a full participant tonight.

(DB) Mark Webb - [Probable] Webb found himself on the injury report during the bye week prior to the Florida game with a knee injury, he played the entire game in Jacksonville, and we expect the same today.

(NT) Jordan Davis - [Probable] Davis missed four consecutive games with a high ankle sprain that he suffered against Tennessee. Like Webb, he played and played well against Florida last weekend and we expect the same today.

(RB) Brian Herrien - [Probable] Has been dealing with sporadic back spasms since the South Carolina game, though he's been a full participant though since the issue arose.

(OL) Cade Mays - [INJURED] Mays will get the start at RG, but goes down with a lower-leg injury at the start of the 4th.

(OL) Justin Shaffer - [Questionable] Shaffer has battled a neck injury since the South Carolina ball game. With Mays banged up as well, Shaffer could be called upon if healthy. Shaffer was seen wearing a neck brace and street close in pregame

(OLB) Walter Grant - [Out] Grant was seen in street clothes during warm-ups.

Out indefinitely: Tramel Walthour, Owen Condon, Tommy Bush, Trey Blount, and D'Wan Mathis.

(OL) Trey Hill goes down with 4:43 left in the first. Appears to be a lower leg injury.

(WR) Lawrence Cager goes out of the game with the same left-shoulder injury that's blagged him.

(OL) Isaiah Wilson goes down with 11:55 left in the game.

The Dawgs look good early. Doubt Missouri has a shot without Bryant.
