Georgia fans are starting to get used to seeing dominant tight ends, the next in line Missouri Tight End, Albert Okwuegbunam comes to town Saturday.

First, it was Notre Dame Cole Kmet, who when he's not throwing 95+ on the mound for the Fighting Irish baseball team, he's a nightmare on the football field for opposing coaches. Kmet led the Irish in both receptions (9) and yards (102) against the Dawgs back on September 21st in just his first game of the season this year after fighting back from a shoulder injury to start the season.

Last week Dawg fans got a dose of Kyle Pitts from Florida to the tune of 4 reception and 78 yards on the day, and had Georgia not made adjustments, would have done much more damage.

Well, the nightmares continue at the tight end position as perhaps the highest-ranked draft-eligible tight end, Albert Okwuegbunam of Missouri makes the trip to Athens this weekend.

The 2018 John Mackey award finalist is one of the bigger tight ends Georgia will face this season, standing at 6'5" 255 pounds, Okwuegbunam has the rare combination of both size and speed. Prior to the commencement of the 2019 college football season, the big tight end from Mizzou was in the running to be the number one tight end off the board.

In fact, some in the scouting world thought he was in the running to be a first-round pick last season after his redshirt sophomore season even with both Iowa first-round tight ends Noah Hockenson and Noah Fant.

Though, I would favor the likes of Monty Rice and Tae Crowder a bit more in this matchup than the matchup against Pitts.

It's no shot at Okwuegbunam, but Pitts is such a long and explosive athlete, that Crowder and Rice struggled to run with him early. I don't forecast the similar issues with Albert Okwuegbunam.
