Ryan Puglisi Talks First Day of Elite 11, Upcoming Quarterback Competition

The Elite 11 is the nation's biggest quarterback competition, which was kicked off this week in Los Angeles, California. Georgia has two current commits competing at the event this year, with one being Ryan Puglisi and the other Dylan Raiola. There will be a lot of fans and experts tuning in to see how Puglisi performs this week at the competition.
Puglisi is currently a 4-star from Avon, Ct. and was the first of Georgia's two quarterback recruits to join the Dawgs' 2024 recruiting class. Speculations as to whether Puglisi would remain with the class began once the Bulldogs added the nation's no.1 ranked quarterback Dylan Raiola to their 2024 class. However, he remains adamant that he will remain committed to the Dawgs.
The Georgia quarterback commit met up with Dawgs Daily earlier this week to converse about how he prepared for the uniqueness of the Elite 11 and to discuss the upcoming quarterback competition with fellow commit Dylan Raiola. Puglisi stated that he would be trying to gain as much experience and wisdom as possible from the camp rather than solely focusing on winning.
"I think a lot of people come out here like 'I want to win, I want to win it'. Obviously, that's everyone's mindset. But, I think out here there's so many resources where you're trying to learn out here and it's kind of competing against yourself. Like what can you do out here to make yourself better at the end of the day?"

The impending quarterback battle between Puglisi and Raiola will likely remain a major talking point as signing day approaches. Should the two players remain committed and sign with Georgia, it will be the first time in Kirby Smart's head coaching career that Georgia signs two quarterback prospects in the same class.
