2020 UGA Recruiting: Biggest Weekend of the year in-store for Georgia

With the dead period beginning again on August 1st and some of the nation's top recruits still uncommitted, Georgia will play host to some of the biggest names in the country.
Today we will reveal the full list of attendees in Athens this weekend for what is without a doubt the largest collection of talent the university has ever seen. In all, UGA is expected to see (10) five stars this weekend.
We will separate those in Athens this weekend by class, and give you just a bit of information about them all.
2020 Recruiting class
[5-star] Jordan Burch DE: (#1 Overall Player) Columbia, SC.
Burch will be in attendance this weekend, but the South Carolina native is expected to be at Clemson's "All-In" cookout as well. Burch is the nation's best player in the 2020 class and predictions have been leaning towards Clemson. The good news for Dawg fans? Typically Clemson doesn't wait for recruits to pick them.
[5-star] Zachary Evans RB: (#1 Running Back) Houston, Texas
We haven't heard much about the nation's top back from Houston, Texas in terms of him actually attending UGA. In fact, most believe he's likely to end up at Alabama over Athens. There's an outside chance that Evans could pick Georgia if this weekend goes well.
[5-star] Kelee Ringo CB: (#1 Cornerback) Scottsdale, Arizona
Ringo's recruitment has long been a two-team race between UGA and Texas, and it's something to be said that he's going to spend this weekend prior to the dead period in Athens, not Austin. We haven't yet heard a commitment date set, but Ringo is steadily trending towards Georgia.
[5-star] Darnell Washington ATH: (#1 Athlete) Las Vegas, Nevada
This 6'7.5" monster of an athlete looks to be potentially be everything for football that Kevin Durant was for basketball. Prior to KD, we didn't have 7-footers with handles and a jump-shot. Well, prior to Washington, we haven't seen a player of his stature be such a weapon. Though Georgia's primary concerns at TE in this class are with Arik Gilbert, Washington is enticing as hell.
[5-star] Mekhail Sherman, OLB: (#2 OLB) Washington, D.C.
Sherman is the first 5-star on this list to have already committed to playing at Georgia and I'm sure he will be spending the majority of this weekend hoping to entice some of this incredible talent to join him in Athens. The linebacker from Washington has been a pivotal piece to this 2020 class for quite some time now.
[5-star] Broderick Jones, OT: (#2 OT) Lithonia, Ga.
Broderick committed to Georgia back in March of 2018, so needless to say he's been all Dawgs all day for the bulk of his recruitment process. This is a young man that currently hovers around 285 pounds with the frame to put on much more. And what an athlete Jones is, starting on both sides of the ball for most of his high school career.
[4-star] Tate Ratledge, OT: (#4 OT) Rome, Ga.
Though he's currently a 4-star prospect, Tate Ratledge should have no issues earning that fifth and final star by the culmination of his senior season at Darlington. The 6'6 monster was seen power cleaning 340lbs this week.
[4-star] Marcus Rosemy, WR: (#7 Wide Reciever) Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.
Rosemy is a polished route runner from the state of Florida, and though he won't blow you away with any one particular portion of his game, his exceptionally good at everything. Everyone is fast in the SEC, everyone. But what separates good to great at the WR position is the maturity of the routes run, and Rosemy has it in spades.
[4-star] Jalen Carter, DT: (#8 DT) Apopka, Fl.
For being 6’4 and 300+ pounds, Jalen Carter carries it exceptionally well. With a thick lower body, he will be ready to make an impact in the run game early on in college. Carter committed to Georgia this May
[4-star] Jalen Kimber, CB: (#5 Cornerback) Arlington, Texas
Kimber has been a strong piece of this 2020 class for a while now. Coming from just outside of Dallas, he's a similar shape and mold to DeAndre Baker coming out of high school. Both could be considered undersized, but both have extremely long arms. This Georgia commit will be pivotal in securing Ringo in my opinion.
[4-star] Sedrick Van Pran, C: (#3 Center) New Orleans, LA
The number one thing we hear from offensive lineman when asked why they might want to attend The University of Georgia is Sam Pittman, and Van Pran is no different. The Lousiana native has told us here on The Bulldog Maven that Coach Pittman likes him at all 5 positions at Georgia.
[4-star] Carson Beck, QB: (#3 Pro-Style) Jacksonville, Fl.
Despite once upon a time having Florida near the top of his lists of schools, Carson Beck always had his heart set on Georgia. The only problem was it took a while before that offer rolled in, but once it did, Beck committed and hasn't looked back. The future at the QB position will need to entice some of these remaining players to commit to the G.
[4-star] Arian Smith, WR: (#27 WR) Lakeland, Florida
Arian Smith would be the fastest player in high school football in the 2020 class if it weren't for Georgia commit, Corey Wren. We are talking 10.39 in the 100-meter dash fast for Smith. He is currently weighing options between Florida, Alabama, and Florida State.
[4-star] Nazir Stackhouse, DT: (#24 DT) Decatur, Ga.
Stackhouse has been committed to Georgia since December of 2017 which would make him the first commit of the 2020 UGA class and hopefully, he can help secure defensive lineman the likes of Jordan Burch this weekend.
[3-star] Justin Robinson, WR: (#86 WR) McDonough, Ga.
Don't let the rating and ranking fool you, Justin Robinson could be the best one of the bunch when it's all said and done. We are talking about a 6'4 wideout with his best football ahead of him. I truly believe that, had this young man not played Single-A football, he'd be a much bigger name in this class. Stay woke.
[3-star] Corey Wren, ATH: (#26 ATH) New Orleans, La.
Offensive weapons like Corey Wren are seemingly becoming more and more present in college football. Extremely fast athletes that simply require the ball in their hands. No matter how you manage to do so. Well, Wren is one of those guys. With blazing sub 4.4 speed, Wren is an incredible addition to this class.
[3-star] Brady Ward, OT: (#46 OT) Mobile, Al.
Here's the bio on Brady. He's big. Like, really big. Like, 6'8 320lbs as a junior in high school big. Sounds like something Sam Pittman would like to get his hands on, though I think he's most certainly a fall through plan for the Dawgs at this point.
