2020 UGA Recruiting: Georgia Targets & Commits Show Out

The Rivals 5-star challenge took place yesterday in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz stadium and some future Bulldogs were in attendance and were showing out! Though, as most field drill specific camps go, we will spend most of the time today talking about the Skill guys, even though we know the line has been the highlight of the last few classes at UGA.
We will start with the two guys that are already committed:
Marcus Rosemy, WR
Marcus Rosemy committed to UGA last week and seeing as to how his recruitment was down to seemingly Georgia and Florida, it was an announcement that made Dawg fans smile. As for Rosemy's performance yesterday, he won MVP for the wideouts and got the chance to face a future teammate in Jalen Kimber and potential teammate, Kelee Ringo.

Rosemy displays a veteran savvy route-running ability at his age already, which is rare because often times players with such physical abilities rely on sheer talent until they have to. It seems to me that Rosemy has developed his game to be as compatible to SEC football as early as possible.
Notice how in the clip below Rosemy shows patience, stacks the corner, then wins the 50/50 ball AND gets both feet in. This type of stuff isn't common for high school receivers.

Jalen Kimber, CB
The Georgia Bulldogs are in need of another shutdown corner with the loss of Deandre Baker to the NFL, and the commitment of Jalen Kimber reminds me a lot of Baker in high school. Kimber's one flaw as of now is his lack of elite size and frame, but the same could have been said about Baker coming out of high school.
Kimber measures in a 6'0, 170 pounds, whereas Deandre Baker graduated high school at 5'11, 173 pounds, and assuming Kimber puts in the work like Baker did in Athens, there's belief he could bulk up to 185-190 pounds and maintain the elite quickness and speed he currently possesses.

Kelee Ringo, DB
We saved the best for last, or should I say the fast for last. Kelee Ringo laid down a 4.35 forty yard dash yesterday and for the second year in a row, won the fastest man on the field competition at the Rivals 5-star Challenge.

Ringo, the nation's #1 corner, is still uncommitted, and as we've mentioned here on The Bulldog Maven, it appears the battle will come down to Texas and UGA. If I were Georgia head coach, Kirby Smart, this would hands down be my number 1 target in the 2020 class. I genuinely believe we are looking at a top-10 NFL draft pick when his collegiate time is done.
If you haven't already, you need to watch this dude with pads on. He loves to hit, and pair that with a 4.35 type of athlete at corner and you've got a baaaaaadddddd
