Zach Evans is pretty damn good. So good that his spot atop the running back rankings for the 2020 class has been unwavering. This back from Houston, Texas has the whole package.

Vision, versatility, breakaway speed, and a shiftiness to his game that is unparalleled at his age.

So, where will this soon to be superstar be playing his college ball? Well, it's been a game with a ton of lead changes so far, and the Dawgs have made the late push necessary to land his services.

Take a look at Rivals.com projection chart, and look at the amount of ground that Kirby Smart and his staff have gained on the competition since Evans was on campus in July.

So, in other words, all that work that Alabama did from June to July was completely usurped by one visit to Athens.

What a class of running backs it would be too. Georgia is certainly taking a gamble. In hopes of securing Evans, Georgia has more than lost out on it's "back up plan" in Tank Bigsby, the 4-star homegrown product that will most likely end up at Auburn.

Kirby Smart is banking on Kendall Milton AND Zach Evans being the centerpiece to his 2020 class, and what a class.

And for those worried if whether or not Kendall Milton is the type to obsess over owning the spotlight, since his commitment he's been adamant he's bringing a super team of recruits with him. And his tweets have shown nothing less...
