It was down to Arizona State, Houston, And Georgia for Corey Wren, but the Dawgs ended up securing his commitment. Wren, listed as the 35th ranked Athlete in the country, was primarily used as a running back in his junior season.

However, Wren will be a receiver when he gets to Athens. He'll most likely be the third and final receiver in Georgia's 2020 class. Look for him to be the "speed demon" receiver like Mecole Hardman Jr. was for Georgia. In fact, the staff has already told Wren that they see a lot of Hardman in him.

So Why Georgia?

Wren told 247sports, "I thought Georgia was amazing. The campus is beautiful and I could tell Coach Hankton really loves what he does."

Wren is also a two-time Division 1 Louisiana indoor 60-meter champion. The guy can flat out fly. There are rumors of him running an unofficial 4.31 40-yard dashHe plans on running track in college as well.

Wren moves the Dawgs to 15 commitments in the 2020 cycle. We'll have more updates for you on the recruiting class soon.
