2021 UGA Recruiting: A Look At Dual Threat QB, Caleb Williams

Caleb Williams is one of the nation's best dual-threat QB's in the 2021 class. UGA currently leads in the recruiting race for this stud from Washington D.C.

I'll say this. I've seen a lot of highlight tapes in my day. Never have I ever seen two plays to start of a tape such as Caleb Williams. The first play comes in the fourth quarter, his team down 3 set for a Hail Mary attempt, and he throws an Aaron Rodgers like bomb from his own 40-yard line. Touchdown, Gonzaga Catholic wins. 

Then, to verify the "Dual Threat" aspect of his game, the sophomore takes a read option 95 yards for a score the very next play and breaking a few tackles along the way.  

He's the number two ranked dual-threat quarterback available in the 2021 class, and Georgia has received 4 crystal-ball predictions from 247sports.com recruiting analysts. The only apparent threat to Williams' commitment appears to be Penn State. 

The UGA 2021 class has yet to receive a commitment, but it's extremely early in the process. Though, Willaims would be an excellent start to what's presumably going to be another great class for Georgia. At this point, Kirby Smart has set the bar pretty high for himself and staff, and that's how it should be.
