UGA 2020 Recruiting Class: 4 star WR Marcus Rosemy Chooses UGA Over UF

It's starting to seem like just a regular thing now, seeing prospects from the state of Florida choose the Bulldogs over the Gators. The trend continued today when the four-star receiver, Marcus Rosemy, announced he's going to Georgia on Twitter.
Coming fresh off of a visit to Gainesville, Rosemy, the #6 WR in the country and #39 recruit overall, became the 5th player in Georgia's class to choose Georgia over the in-state Florida Gators. He's also the fourth highest commitment in Georgia's 2020 class.
Rosemy brings the class to an average of .9303 on 247sports.com. That's enough for the third highest average in the nation, only behind Clemson and Alabama. Not a bad spot to be in, considering that Georgia has five fewer commitments than both of those schools.
Rosemy has also drawn comparisons to former UGA wide receiver, Riley Ridley, by Charles Power. It's easy to see the similarity when you take a look at some of his highlights. Feel free to watch him toy around with some defensive backs below. You should also know that he plays for one of the top high schools in the state of Florida, St. Thomas Aquinas.
2020 WR Marcus Rosemy (6’2” 187) plays with vry gd competitive toughness proving to be a solid possession receiver. Savvy in terms of field awareness & route stem manipulation to separate from defenders. Lacks top end spd (4.59) but physical in traffic & at the catch point #devy pic.twitter.com/H2u1TlvuJB

Seems like the Dawg commits are looking forward to playing with Rosemy, including quarterback, Carson Beck. Could we be looking at a future dynamic duo between the two?
Congrats Brudda!! We Got A Couple More On The Way :) #KeepItRolling #GoDawgs ! https://t.co/u2c5VT8JyN

This is the second receiver in the 2020 class, with the other being four-star, Justin Robinson. Look for the Dawgs to add another receiver very soon.

So, why Georgia?
"I picked Georgia because I felt at home there. The family atmosphere there is unbelievable and it just felt right," said Rosemy to DawgNation.
Rosemy adds on to the embarrassment of riches that Georgia has already been gifted in 2020. It's also another slap in the face to Dan Mullen, and the Gators' fan base. We can all cherish another W in the column for Kirby Smart, for now. More victories over the Gators will come in the near future.
