2024 Wide Receiver Jordan Shipp Drops Top Eight Schools

Georgia Tech is among the finalists for 2024 wide receiver Jordan Shipp

Even after signing three high school wide receivers and three transfers, Georgia Tech is going to need to keep gathering in young talent at the position for the future and one very talented 2024 receiver now has Georgia Tech in his top eight.

Jordan Shipp (Charlotte, NC) is a three-star wide receiver in the 247 Sports Composite and yesterday, he dropped his top eight schools. Among those top eight schools is the Yellow Jackets and that is a good first step for Georgia Tech and head coach Brent Key in this recruitment.

According to 247Sports, Shipp did visit NC State on January 21st and the Wolfpack are one of the finalists. North Carolina, Kentucky, Maryland, Cincinnati, Michigan, and Virginia Tech are the other schools in the mix for Shipp. Michigan and North Carolina might be the teams to watch in this recruitment.

Being listed in the top eight is nice of course, but there is still plenty of work to do in this recruitment for Georgia Tech. Getting Shipp on campus would be a great sign that the Yellow Jackets are real contenders in this recruitment.

Georgia Tech currently has one player committed for the 2024 class and that is four-star quarterback Jakhari Williams (Macon, GA). Williams is the guy that Key is going to be building this class around and that is a very good building block.
