Georgia Tech 2024 Football Recruiting Targets: Interior Offensive Line

Who will be Georgia Tech's targets along the interior for the offensive line?

The first weekend of official visits has wrapped up in Atlanta and Georgia Tech is working on improving its 2024 class with their top targets. One area of emphasis is of course going to be the offensive line, a position in which Georgia Tech brought in five recruits last recruiting cycle and they are continuously working to improve. The Yellow Jackets have one offensive lineman committed and are going after others to improve the future upfront.

So who could be the top interior offensive line targets for the Yellow Jackets?

GT currently has one commit along the interior of the offensive line with three-star prospect Santana Alo Tupuola (IMG Academy, FL) committing earlier this offseason.

One prospect that is slated to take a visit to Atlanta is Felix Doege (Rabun Gap, GA. I talked to Doege about setting up his official visit with the Yellow Jackets and what he is looking for out of a visit to Georgia Tech:

"I am just pumped to be down there and get a real feeling for the campus. As my list narrows down, those OV's are important and GT is really high up for me."

There are some intriguing options with other offers on the board, but no official visits have been lined up yet.

Gemyel Allen (Lawrenceville, GA) named the Yellow Jackets in his top five in February and has officials to Virginia and Duke lined up.

Kahlil House (Warner Robins, GA) is a name to keep an eye on and he recently listed the Yellow Jackets in his top 12 schools.

House got a chance to talk with Brooks Austin, FanNation's director of recruiting, about his recent offers, and about the Yellow Jackets program. House, who wants to major in Cyber Security, discussed his relationship with Yellow Jackets head coach Brent Key and offensive line coach Geep Wade:

"We've been in talks a lot. Coach Wade was just down here and talked to me and he has been coming ever since January to come see us and stuff and talk to me and it is really exciting, he really wants me to come there and it has been a blessing because at first, I did not think this is where I would be."

House went on to mention that at first he did not think that playing at a power five program was going to be a possibility:

"No, if I am being honest. I worked, got better at my craft and this is just what came out of it. All of this recruiting stuff is very new to me if I am being honest because last year I was only, I played my Sophomore year and my Junior year going into my Senior year, but I did not play my freshman year and was not recruited so visiting schools and all of that is very new to me and with my family, they are not really big into sports. I had a cousin who played but that is about it.

Another name to know is four-star guard Waltclaire Flynn Jr (Loganville, GA), who visited Georgia Tech in January. There does not appear to be any momentum for the Yellow Jackets here, but he is one of the top offensive line prospects in the state of Georgia.

Keep an eye out for more offers and if Key and the rest of the staff can make any in-roads with any prospects along the offensive line.
