Pair Of Georgia Tech Commits Set Their Official Visit Dates

In this story:
The month of June is quickly approaching and that means that official visits will be going on for Georgia Tech and the rest of the college football world.
Georgia Tech will be looking to add to its 2024 class with some of the official visits next month, but current commits are also going to be on campus and two of them announced their visit days today on social media. Quarterback commit Aaron Philo and offensive line commit Santana Alo-Tupuola are going to be in Atlanta on the weekend of June 2nd.

Philo committed earlier this month after previously de-committing from Minnesota. Alo-Tupuola was one of the first members of this class and has been picking up offers from other power five programs since then.
Philo was a top performer at the Atlanta Elite 11 regional and is one of the most underrated passers in the state and the country.
Here are some accomplishments and stats courtesy of 247Sports director of scouting Andrew Ivins:
"2022: Peach State Class A Division 1 Offensive Player of the Year. Led Prince Avenue Christian to a perfect 14-0 record and a title. Completed 274 of 397 pass attempts (69 percent) for 4,598 yards with 54 TD to go against 8 INT. Also carried the ball 68 times for 361 yards (5.3 average) and 8 more scores. Threw for 5 TD or more in 6 games. That included in the state championship against Swainsboro where he was 21 of 32 for 477 yards with 6 TD and 1 INT. Studied under former college coach Jon Richt."
Philo talked with me about his official visit at the Elite 11 and his ability to be the lead recruiter in the class:
"I am going to be taking my official visit with Georgia Tech during the first weekend of June. I definitely have to be the guy and the leader that brings in these top recruits in-state and out-of-state so we can go get this thing rolling."
At 6-1 325, Tupuola is going to be projected to play along the interior of the offensive line at either guard spot or possibly center. He is a three-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He holds offers from Florida, Oregon, and Stanford, among others.
The 2024 class for Georgia Tech currently ranks 36th on 247Sports, which is 9th in the ACC.
