One of the most underrated players in the state of Georgia has narrowed his top school choices down to 10.

Jakob Gude (Fairburn, GA) is rated as a three-star safety prospect at 247Sports and has been getting more and more attention from schools as the 2024 cycle has been going along this spring. Gude dropped his top ten schools today and among them is Georgia Tech, where Gude has visited before.

At 5'11 180 LBS, Gude is really athletic and it shows when he is making plays in coverage. He covers ground quickly and is a sure tackler as well. There is a reason some of the top schools in the country are after him.

Other schools listed in Gude's top ten includes Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, Texas, Louisville, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Oregon, and UCF.

Gude visited Georgia Tech on January 14, Auburn on January 21st, and then Alabama on the 28th. He was also at Ohio State not long ago.

Georgia Tech's 2024 recruiting class currently ranks 26th according to 247Sports, which is good for 7th in the ACC.

2024 Commitments

  • Jakhari Williams (QB)
  • Duke Watson (RB)
  • Santana Alo-Tupuola (IOL)
  • Jordan Boyd (DE/LB)
