Three-Star Defensive End Uche Iloh Commits to Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech has picked up another commitment in the 2024 class

Georgia Tech picked up another commitment for the 2024 class this morning when three-star defensive end Uche Iloh announced his commitment to Georgia Tech. Iloh plays at McIntosh High School in Georgia and becomes the second defensive player to commit to the Yellow Jackets since Sunday. Georgia Tech added 2024 linebacker Caleb Dozier to the class on Sunday afternoon.

Iloh is a 6'6 245 LBS defensive end with a lot of athleticism and he could be an impact player on the defensive line down the road. Georgia Tech beat out fellow ACC Schools Louisville and Virginia for his commitment. Other offers that he had include Air Force, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Duke, Georgia Southern, Indiana, Iowa State, James Madison, Marshall, Memphis, Minnesota, Missouri, NC State, Ole Miss, and West Virginia, among others.

The 247Sports Composite ranks Iloh as the No. 637 player in the country, the No. 69 defensive lineman in the country, and the No. 73 player in the state of Georgia.

Georgia Tech now has 23 commitments for its 2024 class and 247Sports has the class ranked 35th nationally.

Yesterday, Georgia Tech got a big commitment from a former Mississippi State linebacker commit.

Caleb Dozier, who played at Headland High School in Alabama, announced his commitment to Brent Key and the Yellow Jackets yesterday. Dozier, who de-committed from Mississippi State last week, was in Atlanta for an official visit last weekend.

Dozier is a 6'3 225 LBS linebacker who is rated a three-star player on 247Sports. The 247Sports Composite has Dozier rated as the No. 1156 player in the country, the 104th athlete in the country, and the No. 50 player in the state of Alabama.

The Early Signing period begins next Wednesday and the transfer portal is still open. The next few weeks will be chaotic for college football, so stay tuned right here for the latest.
