Gonzaga guard Luka Krajnovic is expected to miss four to six weeks with a broken left hand, according to a report from the Spokesman-Review on Friday. The news broke roughly 30 minutes before tipoff between No. 10 Gonzaga and fifth-ranked UConn at the Continental Tire Seattle Tip-Off on Friday.

Krajnovic, who sustained the injury after colliding with a teammate in practice, had his hand wrapped and didn't participate in pregame warmups.

The 6-foot-5 freshman is averaging four points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 13.6 minutes per game. He matched his career high with seven points in a 111-71 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff earlier this month.

Losing Krajnovic is significant, but the Zags will continue relying on their backcourt trio of Ryan Nembhard, Nolan Hickman and Dusty Stromer. The three starting guards have combined to average 30.8 points per game.

Following its neutral-site matchup against UConn, Gonzaga will return home to play Jackson State on Wednesday.
