Greg Heister thinks Ryan Nembhard could 'elevate' Gonzaga Bulldogs to Final Four contention

ROOT Sports announcer had high praise for Gonzaga's newest point guard

Potentially six new players could suit up for the Gonzaga men's basketball program this season, but of all the acquisitions Mark Few made during the offseason, none might be more integral to the Zags' success than Creighton transfer Ryan Nembhard.

The younger brother of former Gonzaga guard Andrew Nembhard, the younger Nembhard possesses a skillset and basketball IQ that could elevate the Zags near the top of college basketball in the 2023-24 season, according to ROOT Sports announcer Greg Heister.

As always, though, Gonzaga's success revolves around continuity and chemistry.

Listen to the recent episode of the Gonzaga Nation podcast with Dan Dickau for more on Heister's outlook for the 2023-24 Gonzaga Bulldogs roster, schedule and potential breakout players.
