NBA Summer League 2023: How to watch Julian Strawther, Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat
Julian Strawther and the Denver Nuggets will look to pick up their first win in NBA Summer League action when they meet the Miami Heat in Las Vegas Friday.
The former Gonzaga star and 29th pick in last month's NBA Draft scored a game-high 21 points in Denver's most recent game, but it wasn't enough to keep the Nuggets from falling to 0-3 with a 96-91 loss to the Utah Jazz Wednesday.
Strawther shot 7-for-17 from the field and 3-for-11 from deep in 33 minutes of action. He is now 13-for-41 from the field and 7-for-29 from behind the arc in the three games he has played this summer.
A matchup with the Miami Heat is next for Strawther and the Nuggets. It will be the first time the two teams have seen each other since Denver defeated Miami to win the NBA championship in June.
