While the Gonzaga men's basketball team waits to hear about Anton Watson's future, another intriguing big man just entered the college basketball transfer portal.

North Dakota State junior Grant Nelson, a 6-foot-11 unicorn, plans to enter the portal according to multiple reports. Nelson is testing the 2023 NBA Draft waters after averaging 17.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.7 blocks during his junior season at NDSU.

Nelson is already drawing interest from multiple high-major college programs, and his athleticism, length and ability to put the ball on the floor and go coast-to-coast is making coaches and scouts salivate.

On the latest episode of the Gonzaga Nation podcast, former Zags' All-American Dan Dickau talks about how Nelson would be a perfect fit in Mark Few's system.
