Pacific and Pepperdine will each be looking for their first conference victory of the season when the two teams face off Thursday night in Malibu.

The Tigers have won seven of their last 10 games against Pepperdine, including all three matchups last season.

Pacific (6-11, 0-2 WCC) fell to San Francisco in a 92-88 overtime thriller to begin conference play and then suffered a 78-64 loss on the road in Portland last week.

The Tigers have struggled to find an offensive rhythm so far this season, as Nick Blake and Judson Martindale are the only two Pacific players currently averaging more than 10 points per game.

On the boards, junior Cam Denson is pulling in a team-high 5.1 rebounds per game.

Pepperdine (7-10, 0-2 WCC) dropped both of its first two WCC games last week against Gonzaga and Santa Clara.

There were 15 lead changes in the Waves' 78-72 loss to Santa Clara, but the Broncos used hot three-point shooting to scrape out the victory in the final minute of the game.

Despite back-to-back losses to begin conference play, junior Michael Ajayi has been playing at a very high level.

The first-year junior college transfer recorded double-doubles in both games last week and is currently third in the nation with 10 double-doubles this season.

Ajayi put together a 27-point, 10-rebound game on 8-of-12 shooting from the field in the loss to Santa Clara.

Here is how you can watch tonight's matchup between Pepperdine and Pacific.
