San Francisco hosts San Diego in the two teams' final meeting of the regular season

San Francisco is 10-1 in home games and the Dons will look to keep that momentum rolling on Thursday when they face off against San Diego for the final time in the regular season.

USF has won seven of the last eight matchups against San Diego, and the Dons beat the Toreros by 20 points when these two teams met earlier this month.

San Francisco (16-6, 5-2 WCC) saw a seven-game win streak come to an end with back-to-back losses against the top two teams in the WCC (Saint Mary's and Gonzaga), but got back to their winning ways last week with a 76-64 victory on the road against Portland.

Jonathan Mogbo logged his 11th double-double of the season in that game and continues to put together his case for WCC Player of the Year.

The junior forward currently ranks fifth in scoring (15 ppg), first in rebounds (10.6 rpg), first in field goal percentage (67.9%), seventh in assists (3.5 apg), fourth in assist/turnover ratio (1.9), fourth in blocks (0.9 bpg) and second in steals (1.6 spg).

Ndewedo Newbury also had a big game against Portland, tying his career-high with 22 points while adding nine rebounds, three assists, three blocks and three steals.

San Diego (12-10, 2-5 WCC) finally broke into the conference win column with a pair of narrow victories on the road against Portland and Pepperdine last week.

Both games ended in exciting fashion, as the Toreros erased a 14-point deficit to sneak by the Pilots 85-81, then pulled out a 69-67 thriller against the Waves thanks to a clutch jumper from Wayne McKinney III that came with just two seconds left on the clock.

While McKinney's big shot sealed the victory, it was junior center Steven Jamerson II who led the way for San Diego with a career-best performance of 20 points and 12 rebounds on 10-of-11 shooting.
