Pacific vs. Pepperdine: Latest betting odds for WCC men's basketball
Pepperdine hosts Pacific in a WCC men's basketball battle Thursday and the Waves open as a double-digit betting favorite.
Pacific (6-11, 0-2 WCC) dropped both of its first WCC league games last week, first losing a 92-88 overtime thriller against San Francisco and then a 78-64 loss on the road in Portland. The Tigers have not been able to generate much offense this year and currently have just two players averaging more than 10 points per game.
Pepperdine (7-10, 0-2 WCC) also lost both of its first WCC contests last week, falling to Gonzaga in Spokane and then losing to Santa Clara at home. The highlight for the Waves so far this season has been the stellar play of first-year junior college transfer Michael Ajayi, who currently ranks third in the nation with 10 double-doubles this season.
The Waves are double-digit favorites against Pacific, but they lost all three matchups against the Tigers last season.
