VIDEO: Illinois coach Lovie Smith - 'We want to stack wins'

After pulling off the upset win over Wisconsin, Illinois head coach Lovie Smith says they've instituted a 24-hour rule of celebratory time.

Illinois head coach Lovie Smith on the 24-hour rule of celebration following the 24-23 upset win over Wisconsin. The Illini (3-4, 1-3) will play at Purdue (2-5, 1-3) this Saturday (11 a.m., BTN).

"During Homecoming last year, we were embarrassed by Purdue (the 46-7 loss in Champaign). We get a chance to redeem yourself. You want to stack wins, as much as anything. I don't think they get off the bus running the football. They get off passing it. We'll have to stop them whether all of their players are playing or not."
