2024 Edge William Depaepe Commits to Indiana

New Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti added to his 2024 recruiting class, landing a commitment from edge rusher William Depaepe from Moline, Ill.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana football picked up a commitment from edge rusher William Depaepe on Friday.

At 6-foot-6 and 225 pounds, Depaepe attends Moline High School in Illinois. He's a three-star recruit, ranked No. 1,103 overall and No. 78 among edge rushers in the class of 2024, per the 247 Sports Composite.

He originally committed to Georgia Tech, but reopened his recruitment and committed to Indiana after visiting Bloomington in December.

Depaepe is now the 15th member of Indiana coach Curt Cignetti's 2024 recruiting class, which is currently ranked 61st in the nation and 15th out of 18 Big Ten teams. 

As a senior, Depaepe made 39 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, four sacks and two forced fumbles. To watch his high school highlights, CLICK HERE.
