Iowa wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette talked on Thursday about his family back in New Jersey, one of the states hardest hit during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Smith-Marsette, who grew up in Newark, stayed in Iowa City during the spring after the campus closed because of the pandemic.
