Mark Pope will try and bring one of Kentucky's seven-footers back

Mark Pope runs a very interesting offense that uses a lot of ball movement and leads to a lot of three-pointers. This is why his BYU team from a year ago was in the top five in both three-pointers made and assists in all of college hoops.
You can expect him to run that same offense at Kentucky, which will take a certain type of roster. We often talk about athletes vs. basketball players when it came to previous Kentucky rosters, and in Pope's offense, he will need basketball players and a lot of them.
One player whom Pope would love to have on his first roster as Kentucky's head coach is Zvonimir Ivisic. Big Z entered the transfer portal, but he is sitting down with Coach Pope this morning to discuss the possibility of his return.
Ivisic was literally made in a lab by the world's top scientists for Pope's offense, so you can expect Kentucky's new head coach to put the full-court press on this one.
Ivisic is a 7'2 big man who can shoot the three ball very well. In Pope's offense, you need a big man who can shoot and pass, which Ivisic proved he can do both of those things.
I am still convinced that Ivisic is going to be an NBA superstar one day. He just needs to play a little bit more physical on defense.
Ivisic is going to have a really good season next year, so Big Blue Nation needs to hope that it is in Rupp Arena wearing Kentucky blue.
