Boogie Fland's commitment video features NBA stars Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony
On Friday, the Kentucky basketball program landed a huge commitment as five-star guard Boogie Fland decided to play his college hoops for John Calipari.
Fland decided to create and post a commitment video after picking Kentucky, and this video included NBA stars Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony wishing him well.
This is really cool for a high school player like Fland, who looks up to these players and has a connection with them significant enough for them to congratulate him on his college choice.
Fland seemed like he would be heading to Bloomington to play for the Indiana Hoosiers, but Coach Cal turned up the heat over these past few days and was able to land the talented guard.
People say if Calipari wants a player, he never misses on them, and the Fland commitment to Kentucky proves that statement true.
The Cats got one of if not the best guards in the 2024 class in Fland who will be an NBA player like Durant and Anthony sooner than later.
