WATCH: DJ Wagner drains a three against the Missouri Tigers

DJ Wagner continues to play excellent basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats.

We talked about how heading into SEC play, DJ Wagner has been playing his best basketball of the season. That trend continued against Florida on the road and so far this evening against the Missouri Tigers.

He just made a three to extend the Cat's lead over the Missouri Tigers. Wagner has been shooting the ball a lot better from deep over the last few games.

With a little over ten minutes left in the game, Wagner has 16 points to go with three assists. What he was doing against Florida has carried over in this game: getting to the rim and finishing strong.

Wagner hasn't had any trouble getting to the rim this season. The issue early on was finishing when he got there. That has not been an issue for Wagner of late as, so far in SEC play, he is getting to the rim with ease and kissing it off the glass.

If Kentucky's star freshman point guard can continue to heat up as we get deeper into SEC play, this team will be even better than we have seen so far. He has a ton of star potential, and you have seen that on display so far in SEC play.

Let's take a look at this beautiful three from Wagner against the Missouri Tigers.
