The state of Kentucky will stop moving for a day on Thursday when the Wildcats take on the Louisville Cardinals.

This is a matchup between two schools who do not like one another, and no matter how bad Louisville has been, they will show up for this game.

It's no secret the Kenny Payne era has been a failure to this point for Louisville, but if he could take down the Cats, it would be a massive step in the right direction.

It's clear that this Kentucky team and John Calipari don't want to let that happen and will head into this game prepared to throw the L's down.

ESPN's matchup predictor gives the Cats an 86.6% chance to win this game in the KFC Yum! Center on Thursday evening.

This Kentucky team needs to remember that this is a rivalry game and crazy things happen, so they need to go play good team basketball and take care of business on the road.

A win in this game would have Big Blue Nation and the team feeling great when Christmas rolls around.

Andy Patton wrote about a quote from John Calipari about how he will continue to let Rob Dillingham play his way.

"John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats picked up another huge victory over an ACC opponent over the weekend, taking care of the North Carolina Tar Heels, 87-83, on Saturday behind a team-high 17 points off the bench from Rob Dillingham."

"Despite leading the team, Dillingham didn't exactly have his best night, going 6-16 from the field and 1-6 from the three point line, while chipping in three rebounds and just one assist."
