Kentucky basketball has a tough matchup tonight.

The St. Joes Hawks (3-1) travel to Rupp Arena tonight in what may be Kentucky's most challenging home game of the early season.

The Hawks shoot threes, play fast, and are experienced.

UK coach John Calipari previewed the matchup with the Hawks in a recent presser.

They have every player back from last year, and the player of the year in their league," Calipari said. "They shoot 35 threes a game... if they make 20, you lose. But they're taking 35. It ain't like they're taking 21. And so we're really going to have to be locked in with how we're playing. I haven't watched the tape yet, they're 4-0, I think they won tonight, 5-0. We've got a hard game against an Atlantic 10 team that's going to be one of those teams in that league. We'll see where we are and how we do."

Hawks are not undefeated, but actually lost to Texas A&M Commerce - the team that Kentucky defeated 81-61 10 days ago - 57-54 in a very poor shooting performance

The Wildcats play St. Joes tonight at 7:00 pm ET on SEC Network.
