Should Kentucky basketball fans be concerned with the injuries in the frontcourt?

How concerning are the injuries to Aaron Bradshaw and Ugonna Onyenso?

At Big Blue Madness, Coach John Calipari told fans that bigs Ugonna Onyenso and Aaron Bradshaw would be out for another "five to six weeks."

This means that if all goes to plan, you will see these two somewhere in the November 17th to 24th range.

Meaning they are almost sure to miss the Kansas game, which will be a big blow to the Cats as the Jayhawks will be a serious test.

Many Kentucky fans are concerned with the injuries in the frontcourt but are holding steady with the opinion that as long as they are healthy by SEC play, all is good.

That is a fair take, but these guys need to be on the court sooner than later, as we want them to be hitting their stride when SEC play starts rather than still getting their legs under them.

Zvonimir Ivisic is in Lexington but is still waiting on NCAA clearance for him to fully get into the swing of things.

If Ivisic is forced to miss time this season thanks to the lack of an NCAA decision, Tre Mitchell will have to hold down the fort in a razor-thin frontcourt.

Bradshaw and Onyenso need to get back on the court soon so this team can gel and be ready to roll when SEC play starts on January 6th, when the Cats will take on Florida in Gainsville.
