WATCH: John Calipari, CJ Fredrick, Lance Ware React to Kentucky's NCAA Tournament Draw
From John Calipari's humble abode here in Lexington, the Kentucky head coach sat down to talk with media following the revealing of the 2023 NCAA Tournament bracket, as did shooting guard CJ Fredrick and forward Lance Ware.
No. 6 Kentucky will face off against No. 11 Providence in the Round of 64 on Friday, March 17 inside the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, N.C.
Calipari announced that he has named Ware and senior forward Jacob Toppin "team captains" for the tournament, touched on the injuries that have surrounded his team as of late, reflected on previous tourney woes, getting his team prepared for Friday, going up against former Wildcat Bryce Hopkins and more.
Ware and Fredrick also commented on playing against their former teammate, the mindset of the team, shaking off the SEC Tournament loss to Vanderbilt on Friday and more.
