Kentucky had a handful of talented players on the 2023-24 roster.

The 2023-24 Kentucky basketball season came to an early end as the Wildcats lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

While the defense never really got much going all year long, the offense was elite thanks to freshman star Rob Dillingham.

Thanks to his incredible season Dillingham was deemed Freshman of the Year by Andy Katz.

Dillingham averaged 15.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.9 assists on the season for the Wildcats and was second on the team in scoring behind All-American Antonio Reeves.

On the season, Dillingham shot 44.4% from three, which is what has NBA scouts so excited about how he will play at the next level.

Many NBA Mock Drafts have Dillingham going in the top ten, and it isn't hard to understand why when you watch him play.

When you watch Dillingham play, it is made very clear that no one in this draft class can create their own shot better than the Kentucky guard. He is a bit undersized but his ability to make tough looks and shoot the basketball from deep has NBA scouts drooling.

Dillingham has a real chance to be the Rookie of the Year next season when he is drafted thanks to his ability to score basketball.

There are definitely defensive question marks in Dillingham's game, but he will be a star in the NBA and is very deserving of this award from Katz.

Dillingham will be the next star Kentucky guard in the NBA and is in for a solid rookie year.
